Thing2-beginnings

Just watched Stephen and agree that I need to practice regularly. For instance, I forgot my password and had to start over --again!

It will be interesting to see if this does change the way I interact with colleagues. We are so addicted to email and the exchange of information that way, I am anxious to see if other tools will change this. I still do not seem to have enough time to read blogs unless a particularly interesting entry is pointed out. Of course, when you ramble like this - who would bother to read!?

After reading the blyberg blog article, I have to wonder how this is a different movement? Libraries have always been early adopters of technological advances that facilitated improved services for patrons. It would seem that Library 2.0 is only an added method of interacting with customers and each other. It is a bit short on details of how it will improve interlibrary collaborative efforts. Libraries have continued to expand on partnerships and collaboration that began with ILL and grew. I would like to hear how this Library 2.0 "thing" is supposed to be implemented for even more efficiency.
